Utterly enjoyed the retreat! Can't recommend it enough! My only wish was for there to be more kayos and live stories to get learning from like the workshops at Buddahfield. The retreat was much more structured and less kayotic than I imagined and hoped it would be. Still had a great time and will come back next time! 🦊🍁🍂🍊🧡🎃

Alfoxton is such a magical place, set amongst beautiful wonders of nature including a 900 year old Oak tree! I have been to two musician retreats here that have made a lasting impact on my life and output as a musician, for which I will always be grateful. The Alfoxton Buddhist community are absolutely beautiful people who are welcoming, encouraging, inclusive and instantly feel like family. Being on the land paired with the community feel of the house and surrounding buildings makes Alfoxton perfect for escaping the world, looking inwards, and coming out with fresh hearts ready to transform through kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend a visit or to book onto one of their magical retreats to test your limits, learn new things, reflect, meditate and be at one with nature!

I’ve been here for two retreats and it is hard to express my love for this place in words. Alfoxton Park felt enchanted - alive with birdsong, wild deer, ancient trees and starry skies. Their friendly residential community are building a strong centre for the dharma and creativity to thrive. Whether you want to develop your meditation, spark your creativity or connect more deeply with the land, I can’t recommend visiting enough.
